How to Back Up Your Blogger Blog
There can be nothing worse than to login to Blogger one day and find you blogger blog gone, corrupted or deleted forever due to any unforseen error. Back up is very important. Here are a few simple ways to keep your Blogger blog safe and backed up….
Back up Blogger Posts
- Backup Your Posts - Bloggers Blogsend allows each of my blog posts to be automatically sent to my email address. So I have a back up of all my posts as individual emails. You can further create folders in your email account (as in Yahoo Mail) or apply labels (in Gmail), and create filters such that such emails can be collected in one place.
- Back up your entire blogger blog - Bloggers provides detailed instructions to create a single file with all your posts which you may publish and then copy to your own computer for use as desired. Remember to save a copy of your existing template in a file on your computer as you will need to have it at hand after this process is completed. This is good for a one time backup, but is cumbersome to do if you back up very frequently. Also you might mess up some setting and disbale your blog is not done right.
- Try third party back up tools - like the HTTrack Web site copier for Windows users and Webgrabber for Mac users. Each of these applications will create a fully working, interlinked local copy of your blog for browsing offline and easily allow you to back up. Remember it will take considerable time and internet bandwidth if you have a huge blog.
Back up Blog Template
- Back up the template whenever you change it. Just copy and paste the entire template code into any simple text editor like Notepad or Wordpad and save file with name like ‘myblog-date.txt’. After a while you will have a series of such files organized by date. If for some reason your blog goes away, just copy and paste the teplate back into Blogger and republish.
- If you have lost your template partly or fully - learn how to restore your blog template code and then back it up.
Back Up Blog Comments
- Blogger has an option to send you an email when someone leaves a comment on your blog. This is located in Setting > Comments option in Blogger. This enables you to collect all your comments as individual emails, much like the blogsend posts emails mentioned above. Then you can file them all together as labels or in a email folder.
- If you moderate comments, you can get all your comments as emails pending your approval. This email address can again be entered in Setting > Comments. If you do not want to save rejected comments as emails and recieve only published comments - then you can keep the comment moderation email address blank, while filling up the Comment Notification Address.
- If you use Haloscan Comments instead, then anyway your Blogger comments are off and Haloscan is keeping track of backing up your comments. I am using Blogger comments featured now with comment moderation, word verification captchas to combat comment spam.
Make blog back ups a habit and you will remember this post when it saves your blog on a bad day!

Dual core is simply a generic term referring to any processor package with two physical CPUs in one.
The Pentium D is simply two Pentium 4 Prescott cpus inefficiently paired together and ran as dual core.
The Core Duo
is Intel's first generation dual core processor based upon the Pentium
M (a Pentium III-4 hybrid) made mostly for laptops (though a few
motherboard manufacturers have released desktop boards supporting the
Core Duo CPU), and is much more efficiently than Pentium D.
The Core 2 Duo
is Intel's second generation (hence, Core 2) processor made for
desktops and laptops designed from the ground up to be fast while not
consuming nearly as much power as previous CPUs.
The Pentium D, Core Duo, Core 2 Duo and Athlon X2 are all current CPUs that have dual cores in one package.
Note - Intel has dropped the Pentium name in favor of the Core architecture.
How To regain the original increased backup time for your laptop and phone batteries.
1. Firstly drain your phone or laptop battery completely until the device gets shutdown due to battery.
2. Now simply charge your battery for a fixed time according to the manuals provided with it at the time of purchase.
3. Repeat the step 1 and step 2 for about 2 times a day fro 3-4 days.
If you really do the steps given above you will noticeably see a change in the backup time of your battery of phone or laptop.
5 Essential laptop security tips
Tip #1: Never leave any passwords in your laptop
case. If you do keep your passwords with your laptop, it’s much like
keeping the keys in your car. Remember that without your passwords, it
will be more difficult to unlock your computer and access your personal
information.
Tip #2: Laptop theft is a crime of opportunity.
Always take your laptop with you, and always keep your eye on it. For
instance, if you’re meeting someone, lock your laptop in the trunk and
make sure it’s stored out of the sight. Further more, try not to leave
your laptop in an accessible area, such as your hotel’s front desk. If
you do have a safe or a security cable, use it.
Tip #3: Have sensitive data? Encrypt it. If someone
gets your laptop and gains access to your files, encryption can give
you an extra layer of protection. Programs such as TrueCrypt make the job very easy. Windows users can use Encrypted File System (EFS) to encrypt files and folders.
Tip #4: Password protect your systems. Every laptop
user should protect their laptop with startup passwords. Set a BIOS
password to lock the system before the operating system even starts.
Windows users can set a password to start Windows. Remember that startup passwords will prohibit any access to the computer at all.
Make sure you choose a good password - make it a long one and
complex. Only hard-to-guess passwords will prevent thieves from
guessing your password. If your laptop supports biometric
authentication, you should use your fingerprint in place of a password.
Tip #5: If the worse happens, and your laptop does
get stolen, wouldn’t it be great if you could trace it? There are
companies that offer tracking software, allowing the stolen laptop to
send its location (for example, LaptopLock). Unfortunately, those programs work only when the stolen laptop connects to the Internet.
Use these 5 tips to keep your laptop more secure when you’re on the road and off the house or work.

Add Item Types
When you right-click on your desktop, there is a New submenu that contains a list of templates. A template is visible
if
the related entry in the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT] hive associated with a file extension has a sub-key called
ShellNew.
For example, on the New submenu there is an entry for Text Document.
This entry is visible because of the key
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.txt\ShellNew]. Create a blank document of the
corresponding application, and put it into the Windows\ShellNew Folder.
Go to that file type under [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT], create a subkey named
ShellNew and create the string-value File Name in it. Change this
string's value to the blank document's filename.
Ex: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.wav\ShellNew\FileName], and FileName's value = "sndrec.wav".
Remove Item Types
Read Add Item Types, and delete or rename the subkey named ShellNew. Hit F5 to update the items in the New

SIM-LOCKNote
- If you bought your Nokia on UK Vodafone or UK Cellnet you do not need to check
this because they both transmit on GSM900, and they don't lock the phones.
However if you bought your phone on UK Orange or UK One2one your phone may be
blocked. The reason is that they both transmitt on GSM1800. To make a call on
GSM1800 you need what is known as a "Dual band" phone. A dual band
phone is able to transmit on both GSM900 and GSM1800, so they lock the phones so
you can't use it with any other network simcard. If you find that your phone is
locked you can try different software to unlock it. (we havn't found one that
works yet), or you can ask your service provider who will gladly exchange the 10
digit code for about £35.This
is how to check the status of the 4 different locks. Aslo don't try entering the
wrong number, because after 3 times it will block the phone for good. There
are 4 different locks on your Nokia phone.

THE
JAMES BOND TRICKIf
you short-circuit theleft middle and right pins on the bottom of the phone with
all connections touching each other, the Nokia software hangs! The profile
"Headset" will be activated. Before you do this just activate the
"Automatic Answer" in the headset profile and set the ringing volume
to "Mute". Now you can use your phone for checking out what people are
talking about in a room. Just place it under a table in a room and call it. The
phone receives the call without ringing and you can listen to what people are
saying.NETWORK
MONITORThere
is a hidden menu inside your Nokia phone. If you want to activate it, you'll
have to re-program some chips inside of your phone.
Check
your software version. You can only continue if you have v4.33, v4.73 or
v5.24.Take

you have v.33 or v4.73, change the address "03B8" from
"00" to "FF".If
you have v5.24 then change the address "0378" from "00"
to "FF".Write
the new data to the EEPROM and solder it back to the phone,Power
on your phone and you should have "Netmonitor" enabled. The
Network Monitor gives you the following information.
